Sales Executive
As an Arnold Clark Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for handling sales enquiries – whether via the internet, telephone or in person – with enthusiasm, confidence and purpose.
As well as stellar selling skills, the focus is always on giving customers the best possible experience, so professionalism and integrity are essential. You should also be able to spy a sales opportunity a mile away, and have the resilience and drive to succeed in a target-based environment.

Day-to-day duties
- Selling our incredible range of new and used cars with enthusiasm and dedication in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicating effectively with others to ensure delivery deadlines are met and promises delivered.
- Maintaining customer records and staying in touch with existing clients to ensure a great aftersales experience.
- Managing your customer database to create new opportunities and ensure existing customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining great standards in the showroom, including point of sale and photography for our website.
- Creating and sending customised video presentations to potential customers, to highlight the features and benefits of their chosen car.
- Ensuring all sales are fully compliant with Finance Conduct Authority legislation.

Driver/Valeter
Arnold Clark Driver/Valeters make sure that all our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition for our customers.
From polishing and vacuuming to moving cars around the forecourt, this role requires both physical ability and a strong attention to detail. Your focus should be on completing your work well to set timescales, and making sure that our customers drive away in a fresh, clean car.
Day-to-day duties
- Cleaning both sold and stock vehicles to the highest standards.
- Cleaning bodywork with a high-powered pressure washer.
- Cleaning and shampooing vehicle interiors.
- Working with a polishing/buffing machine to make paintwork shine.
- Dealing with a variety of chemicals safely and efficiently, following Arnold Clark health and safety procedures.
- Working to set time frames and targets.
- Completing a record of daily work.
- Driving duties in branch, as required.
Receptionist
Being the first point of contact with our customers, the role of receptionist requires you to have excellent communication skills and a friendly manner, as well as being polite, courteous and organised. You will be required to deal with customers face to face and over the telephone confidently as well as direct them to the appropriate department or person
Hours of work will be Monday & Friday 4pm – 8pm, Tuesday -Thursday 12pm – 8pm
