Home Care Worker

Based in Park End, Middlesbrough. This service offers supported living for people with a learning disability, physical disability and mental health.  The service is a mixture of shared living and individual flats.

We are looking for confident, strong and calm individuals in the Middlesbrough area to provide person centred support to service users who have a learning disability, complex needs and challenging behaviour so that they can experience a wide range of opportunities for personal development.

You will need patience and the ability to adapt to each of the Service Users who have varied communication skills; each person having their own unique way of expressing their needs. The Services are provided over 24hrs, you must therefore be willing and capable of covering a range of shift patterns inclusive of weekends; evenings and bank holidays.

You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You will have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. Relief Recovery Support Worker

We require a progressive mental health support worker within our 24hr Mental Health Recovery Service that supports up to 14 people with severe and enduring mental health needs in Blackburn. You will work alongside a committed and experienced team of staff delivering a person-centred recovery service to individuals with a diverse range of needs.  The service enables people to develop the skills and confidence to move towards independent living, to stay well and to enjoy an active lifestyle.

We are committed to the active empowerment and involvement of service users and to encouraging self-management and resilience as well as strengths based approaches founded on respect and unconditional positive regard.

You will provide support to people in a recovery focused environment, promoting independence and enabling them to reach their full potential through education and training.  You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Administrator to join our Recruitment team based in our friendly, busy Head Office near the town center of Stockport, 5 minutes’ walk from the train station. For this interesting and varied role you will be responsible for proofing and advertising recruitment focused job advertisements online, in addition to the production and review of associated job descriptions and interview question sets.
